Overview

USB-C Multiport Adapter Turns Your Device’s USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 Port into a Multifunction Workstation
This USB 3.2 adapter expands the potential of your tablet, laptop, Chromebook, MacBook, smartphone or PC’s USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port. It’s ideal for transmitting digital audio and 4K video to a large display, adding a thumb drive or other USB peripheral, powering and quickly charging a PD Charging-compliant mobile device, and connecting to a Gigabit Ethernet network—all at the same time.
Supports USB DisplayPort Alternate Mode for Transmitting Audio/Video Content
With a source device that also supports USB DisplayPort Alt Mode, you can extend the desktop of your computer to a second display, duplicate the same video on both displays, or change the second display to your primary.
Transmits Crystal-Clear 4K Video and Digital Audio to an HDMI Display
To send 7.1-channel surround sound and Ultra High Definition video to a 4K-ready HDMI television, projector or monitor, connect the HDMI port to the display using a 4K-compatible HDMI cable (sold separately, such as the P568-Series). The HDMI port supports UHDCloseUltra High Definition (UHD) is the resolution 3840x2160 pixels. What this means is that there are more pixels per inch (PPI) in a UHD display than a FHD (Full High Definition 1920x1080) display. This gives a higher resolution display video resolutions up to 4K x 2K (3840 x 2160) at 30 Hz.
Connects a USB Peripheral
The USB-A port accepts USB peripherals, such as a flash drive, mouse, keyboard or printer. It supports fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. The port provides up to 5V 1.5A (7.5W) of fast-charging power to mobile devices. Note
: Host must support USB OTG (On-the-Go).
Charges a Connected Device
The USB-C Power Delivery (PD) port provides power and charging to the PD Charging-compliant host device (such as a MacBook, ChromebookCloseA Chromebook is a laptop or tablet running the Linux-based Chrome OS as its operating system. The devices are primarily used to perform a variety of tasks using the Google Chrome browser, with most applications and data residing in the cloud rather than on the machine itself. or Android smartphone) the U444-06N-H4GUB-C is connected to. Connect the device’s AC wall charger to the USB-C PD port, which supports power input up to 20V 3A (60W). Note
: USB-C PD port does not support Quick Charge (QC).
Accesses a Wired Gigabit Ethernet Network
The RJ45 port offers access to a Gigabit Ethernet network when no Wi-Fi is available or when a wired connection offers faster speeds. Connect using a UTP cable (sold separately, such as the N201-Series), and enjoy true 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet speeds for fast data transfers.
Built-In USB-C Cable Connects in Either Direction
Connect the reversible USB-C plug to your source device’s USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port. The fumble-free USB-C plug connects in either direction to ensure fast, easy connection every time.
Ready to Use Right Out of the Package
The plug-and-play USB to multiport adapter works with all operating systems. It requires no software, drivers or external power. The compact unit fits easily into a pocket, briefcase or laptop bag for connecting on the go.

Network
Auto MDI/MDI-X:A Medium Dependent Interface (MDI) describes the interface (both physical and electrical) in a computer network from a physical layer implementation to the physical medium used to carry the transmission. Ethernet over twisted pair also defines a medium dependent interface crossover (MDIX) interface. Auto-MDIX ports on newer network interfaces detect if the connection would require a crossover, and automatically chooses the MDI or MDIX configuration to properly match the other end of the link.
Yes
Full duplex:A full-duplex system allows communication in both directions, and unlike half-duplex, allows this to happen simultaneously.
Yes
Networking standards:The way in which the network is working, e.g. IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g.
IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3az, IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.3x
Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports:Number of Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports (connecting interfaces) in the device. Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports allow a computer to connect to the ethernet.
